This all-volunteer chorus was founded in 1991 with 12 individuals by Arlene de Silva. In six years, the choir grew to over fifty members. The chorus included Christians of many denominations, Jewish, and Muslims from Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton.
Each year the chorus performed four concerts during Christmas at senior living communities, churches, and other community locations. All concerts were free to the public.
Accompanying the chorus were students from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and local professional musicians.
Adding to the musical festivities were the voices of Arlene’s piano students and their friends.
The chorus was disbanded by Arlene when she founded the Cincinnati Music & Wellness Coalition in 2009.
